The rules for hosting and joining a 10AM event.

1. Service

10AM provides event photo rolls through its iOS host app and browser-based guest experience. Hosts create events, guests upload photos, and albums unlock at the configured reveal time.

2. Host responsibility

Hosts are responsible for sharing event links appropriately, setting a suitable reveal time, informing guests about photo use, and deleting events when required.

3. Guest content

Guests must only upload photos they are allowed to share. Do not upload illegal, abusive, hateful, explicit, or privacy-invasive content. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: such content is removed, and those who post it may be blocked.

Uploaded photos are subject to an automated safety check before they can enter a shared album. We may reject a photo, restrict access, or require human review where needed to protect users or comply with law. A rejected photo does not consume the event’s server-side shot allowance; you may take a different photo. Contact support@10am.cam if you believe a rejection was incorrect.

4. Reporting content

If a photo appears illegal, abusive, hateful, explicit, privacy-invasive, or otherwise inappropriate, use the in-app report action or contact support@10am.cam. Please include the event or photo link and a short explanation. We may restrict access to reported content while reviewing it and may remove content or events where appropriate or legally required.

5. Gallery links

Gallery links are designed for unlisted sharing, not public discovery. Anyone with a valid reveal link may be able to access and download the album after reveal. Downloaded photos may be kept or shared outside 10AM.

6. Data retention

Accounts remain active until deleted. A deletion signal immediately freezes account access and writes; final removal follows a second storage sweep after the maximum two-hour lifetime of previously issued photo-upload links plus a short safety margin. For an account whose only login is Sign in with Apple, a signature-verified Apple consent-revocation or Apple Account deletion notice also initiates that process. On the web, a verified Apple login that matches an existing account with another login provider revokes the fresh Apple grant, removes the transient Apple identity, stores no app-managed Apple credential, refreshes the session, and opens that account. Native Sign in with Apple continues to require a retained, revocable Apple credential. Every newly created event under the current free or per-event model—including paid events and events using previously purchased capacity credits—expires 30 days after reveal. The scheduled cleanup then removes its event, photo, gallery, guest-participation, and related service data. Paying for additional capacity does not buy additional storage time. This policy applies to hosts and everyone who joins an event. An account or event may be deleted earlier by the responsible user or where required by law.

Only grandfathered events marked as legacy and hosted by an account with a still-valid legacy lifetime entitlement may remain without a fixed expiry. This legacy exception is not sold under the current model and does not apply to a new per-event purchase.

7. App Store purchases and refunds

Creating an event for up to 5 guests is free. Capacities for 20, 50, 150, or 250 guests are offered in the iOS app as Apple in-app purchases for one specific event. Each completed consumable purchase issues one capacity credit for the selected size; it is not a subscription, an account-wide lifetime product, or a reusable credit after it has been applied to an event. The final localized price, currency, and any applicable tax treatment are shown by Apple before you confirm the purchase.

Apple processes the payment method and App Store transaction. Refund requests and refund eligibility are handled through Apple under its applicable terms and mandatory consumer law. A refund or revocation does not extend the event’s 30-day retention period. 10AM stores only the limited transaction-verification and credit information described in the Privacy Policy; it does not receive your full payment-card details. Contact support@10am.cam if a verified purchase does not produce the expected event credit.

8. Availability

10AM aims to be reliable, but camera access, mobile browsers, network quality, and third-party providers can affect event capture and uploads.
